We LOVE coming here! We eat here at least once a week. Breakfast and lunch are always tasty and served promptly, with a smile.
Jesus & Mindy are always upbeat and honestly glad to meet every customer that walks through their door!
When eating at Nifty's, we feel like we're eating and visiting with friends.

Great mom and pop restaurant in Modesto. Came here after our flight into Sacramento and looked up a local place for breakfast. Nifty's was neat to our destination and decided to give it a shot. The restaurant is broken into a few smaller rooms and we were sat in the back. The atmosphere is super laid back and seems like it's a place of a lot of regulars. I ordered pancakes and the biscuit and gravy with a side of potatoes. The pancakes were super fluffy and soft and the biscuit and gravy was amazing! Would definitely recommend this! The potatoes however were little harder and lacking flavor. My husband got pancakes with the veggie omelette and hasbrowns. He loved all parts of his meal!

We've been going to Nifty's for the past 6-7 years and we love it. It's like 'Cheers' bit a diner instead. You get to know all the regulars, retirees, veterans, ranchers, farmers, and the staff, so the atmosphere is absolutely wonderful! My granddaughter has grown up going there and she's almost 6 now. Although the food is good, I think we go just for the socialization and diner-family time.

The beauty of a traditional diner is the personal and familiar touch you receive from staff that you learn to know and appreciate! The wife and I have been coming to Nifty's 3 to 4 occasions - and each time the service, food and staff interaction had always been SUPERB! We just found out that our two favs have since retired - Linda & Betty. They made the place a home and set the tone! They will be missed! Anyways - WE LOVE THIS PLACE!

It's good. This place is definitely a "What you see is what you get" diner. NOT FOR MILLENNIALS!
There's nothing extravagant or robust about it. We went because of Yelp ratings. Not bad. Not great.
The atmosphere, service, and food suits the demographic. You'll see a crowd of "regulars" looking for something consistent.
It would behoove the owners/management to balance the price to cater to their clientele.
